Sometimes we tell it to others.
But growing up has taught and refined us to restrain that habit to a greater extent.
But many times we lie to ourselves…
We hardly notice it.
Telling a lie to oneself is as grave as telling it to others.
We often lie in most delicate and intimate things of our life.
We lie about our feelings and expectations.
When I am asked ‘Do I hurt you?’, I should learn to be truthful.
I often fear that saying a candid ‘Yes’ may risk my reputation.
I should learn to value my ‘true self’ over the ‘expected self’.
