The centurion and the Servant

He could understand that Jesus could command the sickness away. He understood Jesus as having genuine authority, just as he had it on his band of servants. That tremendous realization was lacking in Israel. That’s the reason why we still remember that gentle gentile and pray in the words he prayed.
